Subject: Atherden Road upcoming events

calender of events at Atherden Road April 2001 (Hackney, London)

Friday 27th - 10.30am
We are in court again and it is quite likely that Hackney Council will be granted possession.
10.30am - Noise demo outside Hackney Town Hall to coincide with the court case.

Friday evening 7.30pm onwards
caff night - benefit for deaf activists who were arrested on recent demos

Saturday 28th - 1-8m
Spring Fete (see below for more details)
followed in the evening by another caff!

Sunday 29th - 7.30pm
The Hackney Squatters caff that is usually at the Boys Club in Dalston, is, for one week only, transferring over to Atherden Road

Monday 30th - 7.30pm
Yep - another caff! This time by the samba band Rythms of Resistance

Tuesday 1st May - 7am until late
Open for Mayday support and for parents and kids (see below for more details)

The judicial review has been refused. The new court date is Friday 27th April, 2001. And after that...

Mayday 2001 - Atherden centre is open for Kids

Atherden Road Centre will be open on Mayday for local workers and resients with children who wish to attend Mayday activities. We will have people here but hope that at least one carer / parent will stay with the kids here to help in caring for kids an ensuring that a good time is had by all here while other activities take palce elsewhere in town.
